It has been four years since Killer Mike and El-P, the dynamic duo behind Run The Jewels, released new music together. However, fans were in for a surprise when Killer Mike premiered their latest cut, “Detonator,” during Activision’s Call of Duty NEXT livestream event on August 28. The song was specifically created for the upcoming game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Featuring Rock D The Legend on the hook, “Detonator” showcases the undeniable chemistry between Killer Mike and El-P. The track is a reminder of why they are considered one of the most formidable duos in Hip-Hop, with cleverly scripted bars that highlight their exceptional content and rhyme patterns.
