Xbox started off the new year with a bang, presenting a Developer_Direct showcase that included the return of an iconic video game franchise. On Thursday, January 23, Xbox treated fans to a sneak peek at upcoming titles for the Xbox Series X/S and other devices in their console lineup.
One of the biggest surprises of the presentation was the announcement of a new entry in the ‘Ninja Gaiden’ franchise – ‘Ninja Gaiden 4’. Developed by Team Ninja and Platinum Games, this installment continues the tradition of the previous titles in the 3D reboot trilogy released between 2004 and 2012. Players will have the opportunity to control two protagonists: the legendary Ryu Hayabusa and a new character named Yakumo, who aspires to follow in Ryu’s footsteps and become a master ninja.
From the trailer, it’s evident that Platinum Games is the perfect choice for ‘Ninja Gaiden 4’, as the action appears faster and even more stylish. Fans can expect the game to maintain the challenging difficulty level that the series is known for. While the release date for ‘Ninja Gaiden 4’ has not been announced, it will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Game Pass, offering a wide range of platforms for players to enjoy the game.
