Drake Drops Visuals for ‘I’m Upset’ and Announces the Release Date for Upcoming Album

Drake is back! Following the messy beef with Pusha-T, Drizzy has returned with a visual for his newly-released single “I’m Upset.” And that’s not all! Along with the new music video, Drake also announced the release date for his album, Scorpion.

Drake decided to take a stroll down memory lane for his new music video and pay homage to his Degrassi: The Next Generation days. Drake’s character, Jimmy Brooks, appears in the six-minute video alongside several Degrassi favorites – including Shane Kippel, Stacey Farber, Nina Dobrev, A.J. Saudin, Ephraim Ellis, Sarah Barrable-Tishauer and Cassie Steele to name a few. The visuals was directed by Canadian director Karena Evans, who was also behind “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What.”

Along with the release of the new music video, the Toronto rapper also announced the release date and unveiled the cover for his forthcoming album, Scorpion. “June 29 2018” he captioned the photo of the album artwork, which features a black-and-white headshot of the Drake with his Aubrey Graham signature. Besides the release date, there aren’t many details about the album – although it is believed that his hit singles “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What” will be featured on the album.
