Looks like another track off of SZA’s debut album CTRL got the visual treatment!
On Friday (April 27) the first lady of T.D.E released a new video for her track “Doves in The Wind” featuring Kendrick Lamar. In the Nabil-directed video, the SZA heads to the desert to learn how to fight from the master himself, Kung Fu Kenny. The classic martial-arts film vibe is seen throughout the video as SZA and Lamar fight, drink tea on top of a mountain, and defend against ninjas in a heated sword fight. In the end, the “Broken Clocks” singer turns from protégé to master as she defeats Lamar and levitates.
Last time the two were spotted in the desert was during SZA’s stellar Coachella performance. During her set, the neo-soul songstress performed several hits including “Consideration,” “Pretty Little Birds” with fellow T.D.E. signee Isaiah Rashad, and Trippie Redd to perform a rendition of his hit “Dark Knight Gummo.” Lamar joined SZA on stage to perform “Doves in The Wind” and “All the Stars,” a collaboration off the Black Panther soundtrack.
