Serena Williams is Reportedly Launching a Cosmetic Line “Aneres”

It looks like Serena Williams will be the next celebrity to get my entire paycheck. It has been reported that the Williams will be creating her own cosmetics line.

According to TMZ, the 23 grand slam title-winner filed legal docs to trademark “Aneres” – Serena spelled backwards. Back in 2003, Williams locked the name down, however it was used for a clothing line. Now, it has been revealed that the tennis star will be offering a wide range of beauty products!

It has been reported that Serena locked down the trademark for 18 beauty categories. The line will include skin care, makeup removal products, body lotion, perfumes and colognes, makeup kits, makeup brushes, cosmetic cases, foundation, powder, lipstick, lip gloss, eyeshadow, liners, mascara, shampoo, dry shampoos, hair rinses, hair spray and hair gels! Phew!

Along with being a superstar mom, Serena already has a successful clothing like with HSN. The line, which is sold exclusively on HSN, includes a wide variety of clothing options like faux fur jackets, dresses, blouses, sport leggings, even fingerless velvet gloves. With that in mind, it’s no wonder Williams has decided to dip into the beauty game.

With the rise of celebrity cosmetic lines, it looks like big companies like Revlon or MAC will have some stiff competition. Serena will be joining the likes of several celebrities who created their own beauty lines and shook up the beauty industry. Some include Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, and Rihanna – who’s Fenty Beauty sent everyone into a frenzy with the lines huge color range and amazing quality.

As expected news of possible makeup line received a ton of positive feedback. Although details about the line is limited, one question remains, when will it drop?!
