Chris Tucker Confirms Fourth ‘Rush Hour’ Installment Is In The Works

After waiting seven long years, fans of the Rush Hour films need to prepare for another installment heading their way! It has been confirmed that Detective James Carter and Chief Inspector Lee will be returning to silver screens very soon!

For a while, rumors of a fourth installment of the beloved Rush Hour franchise has been circulating but have not been confirmed. However, Chris Tucker has finally confirmed that Rush Hour 4 is in the works and everyone is freaking out. On Wednesday (February 21), Tucker made an appearance on the ESPN podcast The Plug to share the exciting news.

After one of the host asked the Dead Presidents actor if there is a part four and Tucker simply answered “Yes, we’re working on it now… it’s happening.”

“This is gonna be the rush of all rushes,” Tucker said. “Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”

The news of the upcoming film is especially exciting because not that long ago, Jackie Chan confirmed the fourth installment as well. During an interview on The Cruz Show, “For the last seven years, we’ve been turning down, turning down the script,” the actor said. “Yesterday, we agreed [on] the script… Next year [it’ll] probably start.”

Although a premiere date has not been confirmed, it seems like we will be seeing the crime-fighting duo sooner than we think! Will you be watching?
