Kendrick Lamar and SZA Drop “All The Stars” from Black Panther Movie Soundtrack

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have teamed up for the lead single off Black Panther movie soundtrack, “All The Stars.”

According to a report from Variety, Kendrick and TDE chief executive Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith will curate and produce “Black Panther: The Album,” which will feature music from and inspired by the Marvel film. Along with Lamar and Tiffith, film director Ryan Coogler will work alongside in the creation of the music specific to the needs of the forthcoming film.

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director,” Kendrick said per Variety. “The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I’m truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s vision.”

Coogler added: “I am honored to be working with such an incredible artist whose work has been so inspirational, and whose artistic themes align with those we explore in the film. I can’t wait for the world to hear what Kendrick and TDE have in store,”

“Working on such a powerful movie is a great opportunity. We’re always working on new goals at TDE,” Top Dawg said. “So teaming up with Disney, Marvel Studios and the Black Panther film makes perfect sense.”

The film, set to hit theaters February 16, stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Forest Whitaker and Sterling K. Brown. The film’s soundtrack will drop February 9.
