Issa Rae, Octavia Spencer, Jordan Peele and More! Check Out This Years Golden Globe Nominees

Award season has commenced as the nominees for the 75th Golden Globes are announced on Monday (December 11).

Some of this year’s nominations include, one for Issa Rae – who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series for her performance in HBO’s Insecure. Jordan Peele’s blockbuster, Get Out, received two nominations; Best Motion Picture in a Musical or Comedy and for Best Performance by an Actor for Daniel Kaluyya’s lead role in the thriller. Other notable nominations include two for Mary J Blige in the categories of Best Original Song for “Mighty River” with Taura Stinson and Raphael Saadiq and Best Supporting Actress for her role in Mudbound. Also in the Supporting Category is acclaimed actress Octavia Spencer for her role in The Shape of Water.

Hosted by comedian and television host, Seth Meyers, the 75th Annual Golden Globes Awards will air live on January 7th at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on NBC. Be sure to check out the full list of this year’s nominations below!
