Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran Team Up for ‘Perfect’ Remix

Queen Bey has done it again guys! Not long after the “Mi Gente” remix release, Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran have joined forces for the remix of the Divide single “Perfect.”

According to Variety, the original version of the track debuted on Sheeran’s third studio album “Divide,” which received two Grammy nominations in the pop field. Although the remix comes as a surprise, this isn’t the first time Bey has teamed up with the English singer-songwriter. Back in 2015 the two performed a tribute to Stevie Wonder at “Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star Salute,” and also collaborated on Beyoncé’s 2013 hit “Drunk In Love” at the Global Citizen Festival.

Sheeran sings the intro verse and dreamy chorus before the Houston native comes in on the second verse, changing it to a female perspective. “Well I found a man/ Stronger than anyone I know/ He shares my dreams,” she sings. “I hope that someday we’ll share our home/ I found a love/ To carry more than just my secrets/ To carry love/ To carry children of our own.”

During the course of 2017, Bey has collaborated with several music stars, including DJ Khaled on “Shining,” Jay-Z’s “Family Feud,” and most recently “Walk on Water” with Eminem. The award winning singer also collaborated with J. Balvin and Willy Williams for the “Mi Gente” remix— and announced that all of the single’s sales will go to relief for hurricane victims.
