“We’re Expecting”: Ray J Announces Pregnancy with Wife Princess Love
Ray J is going to be a daddy! The Love and Hip Hop star revealed that he and his wife, Princess Love, are expecting their first child together.
Yesterday (November 27), Ray stopped by daytime talk show The Real and revealed the big news. The singer turn reality star confirmed the impending pregnancy to co-hosts Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton, Tamer Mowry-Housley and Jeannie Mai: “Princess and I are expecting.”
“I’m nervous, excited – it finally happened.” The daddy-to-be added.
During the interview, the “Famous” singer also admitted that the couple, who got married in 2016, had trouble getting pregnant and it took more time he expected. “We were trying for a while. it’s not as easy as people think,” Ray J said. “For me it was love, we took our time and as we were taking our time – it took a while.”
Not long after the announcement, Princess took to social media to share the news with fans and showcase her growing bump. “It’s such a blessing from God to be able to carry our child. We kept this to ourselves until after the first trimester because it’s bad luck to announce too early.” The model/fashion designer wrote on Instagram. “But we’re so proud to share this journey with you guys. Thank you for all of the love and prayers.”
