Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert Score Reality Series on VH1
Not long after T.I and Tiny ended their six season run on VH1, Teyana Taylor and Cleveland Cavaliers star Iman Shumpert will be bringing their family to small screens in their new VH1 reality series, Teyana & Iman.
According to Deadline, the series will follow newlyweds Taylor and Shumpert at New York Fashion Week–where the model/actress/life-slayer Teyana was a fixture on the runway–strutting the 2017 MTV VMA’s red carpet, raising their adorable daughter Junie and of course spending quality time as a family. On Tuesday (November 14), Teyana took to Instagram to share the exciting news and tease the series with a delightful trailer featuring the power couple and baby Junie. “When I look at reality shows it don’t look like reality to me,” Shumpert said in the trailer. “It’s so important to be a positive representation of Black love.”
Along with starring in the new series, the couple will also serve as executive producers with a team from Banijay Studios. Teyana & Iman is slated to premiere Monday, February 19th at 10/9c on VH1.
