Steph and Ayesha Curry Launch Mobile Game “Chef Curry”
Once you think the Currys have done it all, you have to think again! The Golden State Warriors star and his mogul chef wife, Ayesha have released their mobile game “Chef Curry.”
In partnership with PM Studios, “Chef Curry” challenges players to run a busy, fast-paced restaurant with both Steph and Ayesha. In the game, players attempt to beat the clock playing as Steph, who will serve hungry customers and accommodate their picky tastes. Ayesha serves as the head chef, overseeing the kitchen and making sure the orders are right. Featuring the real life voices of the Currys, the game allows players to win prizes through the ranking challenge, invite and cook with friends for in-game bonuses, and also unlock hundreds of rewards.
“We have seen the mobile gaming space as a landscape for limitless potential and it is an area which Ayesha and I have been interested in for some time,” Steph said in a press release. “When the team at PM Studios presented the idea for ‘Chef Curry’ it immediately felt like the perfect fit. The game incorporates multiple facets of my life including interests on and off the court.”
Ayesha –who owns her own cookware line, meal kit delivery service, and hosts Ayesha’s Home Kitchen on the Food Network – shared her excitement for the new mobile game and said she wanted to ensure players knew what comes with managing a kitchen. “When we were conceptualizing the game, I wanted to make sure it reflected the challenges, intensity and gratification that goes along with managing a kitchen, whether at your home on Thanksgiving serving friends and family or in a high-paced restaurant serving customers,” she said.
