Cardi B & Offset Are Engaged! Watch Her Reaction to Her Migos Beau Popping the Question
We said it once and we’ll happily say it again – 2017 is the year of Cardi B! From scoring a Billboard 100 number one song with no feature with “Bodak Yellow” to landing a record deal – all she does is win. Her tendency for success trickled down into her personal life once she and Migos member Offset took their love affair from “Lick” to real life. And now, the couple is officially engaged!
Over the weekend, Offset proposed to the 25-year-old Bronx native before a crowd of 19,000 people while playing a show for Philly’s Power 99 Powerhouse concert. It all went down on Friday (October 27) and Cardi B was undoubtedly as taken by surprise as the crowd in the audience that night. Offset dropped to one knee and wordlessly showed her the ring he bought her before asking, “Ya dig?”

Cardi could be seen joyfully jumping up and down in excitement – and nearly losing her wig – before accepting the proposal of her man without hesitation.
Since going public with their relationship, Cardi and Offset have been goals as the latest hip hop couple to break onto the scene, love each other shamelessly, and be unapologetically them (there are tweets to prove it). However, just last week, the couple had media outlets shook for a minute after Cardi posted a selfie on her Instagram and said she was single. But not even 24 hours later, Cardi publicly shared with social media fans and followers that she was in the wrong and apologized to her boo. Allegedly, it was a misunderstanding over a blanket she thought he took from her.

Offset didn’t seem to have any worries and posted on his IG, a picture of Cardi with the caption, “Can’t loose,” which suggested that he knew what he had and he wasn’t about to let her get away. Apparently not, given the fact that he just popped the question to make an honest women out of the rap star that’s undoubtedly stolen his heart.
The former Love & Hip Hop: New York star flaunted her ring in a separate Instagram post and gave us a view of the stunning 8-carat pear-shaped diamond engagement ring in all its glory.
“Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, [Offset] I loveee you so much. Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me. For giving me advice molding me and loving me. Your such a amazing man to me your family, friends, kids and you are extremely talented. I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you. Lets make a lot shmoney and love together ❤️ ❤️,” she captioned the photo.
Wonder who gets first dibs over their reality show/TV wedding special – BET or VH1. Only time will tell.
