Check Out Will Smith in the New Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Bright’
Humans, Orcs, and Elves… oh my! Will Smith is back at it again with another Sci-Fi action movie and this time Smith is adding his charismatic flair in Netflix’s new original film, Bright.
Set in an alternate present-day where humans and magic creatures live together, the forthcoming movie follows two LAPD police officers who form a most unlikely duo (one human and one an Orc) working to keep the streets of Los Angeles safe from the dark, menacing underworld – as Deadline reports. While on a routine patrol, the two run into an elf with a magic wand that is referred to a “nuclear weapon.” Along with Smith, the cast includes Joel Edgerton (The Gift), Noomi Rapace (The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo), Edgar Ramirez (Joy), Margaret Cho (Fashion Police), Brad William Henke (Orange is the New Black), Ike Barinholtz (Suicide Squad), Andrea Navedo (Jane the Virgin) and more!
In the trailer, viewers can take a peek at all the awesome fight scenes and car explosions the flick has to offer! The trailer also debuts two new singles from Atlantic Records upcoming Bright: The Album: “Danger” by Migos & Marshmello and “Home” by Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors & Bebe Rexha – as Deadline Reports.
With Max Landis (Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency) penning the script, David Ayer (who also directed Smith in Suicide Squad) will serve as co-director and producer. Ayer will also produce alongside Eric Newman (Narcos) and Bryan Unkeless (The Hunger Games Saga). Bright drops on Netflix December 22. Check out the trailers below!
