2017 is looking like a great year for Gucci Mane. The Atlanta rapper recently released his autobiography titled The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, he has his collaboration with Reebok, has a new album set to drop October 17, and has a wedding on the way with his longtime love Keyshia Ka’ior. If you think it stops there, well you’re wrong.
The “Met Gala” rapper has announced that his new clothing line DELANTIC will be dropping today (September 29). The name of the new line, which is also Gucci’s middle name, “stands for independence, as a business, as an aspiration, as a culture.” The line is being reported as a passion project for Gucci and his longtime friend and 300 entertainment co-founder Todd Moscowitz. Gucci also revealed that Theory’s Austin Rosen and Minya Oh (Miss Info) are also partners in the label, as Revolt TV reports. The new line contains a wide variety of t-shirts with various designs for $40.

As previously mentioned, this year has been big for Mr. Zone 6 but he plans on making 2018 even bigger. Earlier this month, Gucci took to Twitter to announce that he is going independent and will be “dropping a mixtape every other day.” Gucci, who was released from prison in 2016, has been working hard to hold his spot in the music industry. GuWop set it off in a big way with the release of two studio albums: Everybody Looking and The Return of East Atlanta Santa. He has also worked with some of music’s biggest stars, including Drake, Offset, Selena Gomez, Rae Sremmurd, Young Thug, and Fifth Harmony for the hit song “Down” –which earned him a Moonman for Best Pop Video.
