Redman Set to Host VH1’s New Series ‘Scared Famous’

It’s official! Redman will be taking his talents to television as the host of VH1’s new competition series Scared Famous.

According to XXL, the new series follows 10 reality television stars who will move into a spooky estate in Savannah, GA. The stars will be have to endure a variety of frightening challenges and scares over the course of two weeks. With challenges set to gross you out or have you shook, the contestants will have their bravery put to the test to win the ultimate prize of $100,000 donated to a charity of their choice.

The reality stars set to compete in the new show include: Don Benjamin (America’s Next Top Model), Drita D’Avanzo (Mob Wives), Erica Mena (Love & Hip Hop: New York), Alaska (Rupaul’s Drag Race), Miss Nikki Baby (Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood), Safaree (Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood), Sky (Black Ink Crew: New York), Eva Marcille (America’s Next Top Model), Yung Joc (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta), and Tiffany “New York” Pollard (I Love NY).

In addition to the sweet hosting gig, the rap legend recently collaborated on the latest Wu-Tang single “People Say.” As XXL reports, Redman recently worked with North Carolina producer 9th Wonder for his forthcoming project, Muddy Waters 2. Earlier this summer, the “I Bee Dat!” rapper teamed up with Snoop Dogg for the Donald Trump diss track, “Mount Rushmore.”

Produced by David Garfinkle, Jay Renfroe, and Jason Carbon, Scared Famous will hit small screens Monday Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.
