Metro Boomin Launches Boominati Worldwide Record Label

Music’s hottest producer Metro Boomin revealed that he is launching his own record label in partnership with Republic Records and Universal Music Group. The beat maker, who recently dropped the first track from his label, “No Complaints,” announced that in addition to his own music, the new label will also release music from future Boominati Worldwide signed artists.

“Launching Boominati Worldwide is the next step in my career as a producer, an artist and a businessman,” the 23-year-old producer said in a statement. “I created the label to represent a collective of highly gifted individuals who have the shared gift of being able to influence the world through culture and art.”

Co-Founder and CEO of Republic Records, Monte Lipman, also shared his excitement about the launch of Boominati Worldwide.

“Metro Boomin is a franchise player who’s captured the imagination of the music community in a very short period of time,” Lipman said in a statement per Billboard. “His amazing talent, competitive spirit and natural charisma will serve as the cornerstone of success for Boominati Worldwide.”

Although it is not clear which artists will be signed to Boominati Worldwide, Metro’s career has shown that he can work with pretty much anybody. This year has been very good to the mega-producer hailing from St. Louis. According to Billboard, Young Metro has produced five top 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100 including “Tunnel Vision,” “Mask Off,” “Bounce Back,” “Congratulations.” and certified 4x platinum hit “Bad and Boujee.”

Along with the launch of his record label, Metro Boomin will join Trapsoul artist Bryson Tiller on his “Set It Off” tour. The two along with R&B singer H.E.R. will visit 25 cities across the U.S., including Atlanta, Ga.; New Orleans, La.; Seattle, Wash.; Detroit, Mich.; and Richmond, Va.
