Drake Announces Line Up and Date for the Eighth Annual OVO Fest

Just one day after Drake killed it at the first annual NBA Awards, the “Gyalchester” rapper announced details about his long-awaited OVO Fest… and let’s just say, it’s going to be lit.

DVSN, PartyNextDoor, R&B duo Majid Jordan, and Roy Woods are slated to hit the stage during the eighth iteration of the Champagne Papi summer event. Those who are lucky enough to attend OVO Fest will definitely enjoy new tracks from these artists. With PND coming off his newest four-track EP Colours 2, Roy Woods recent EP Nocturnal, Majid Jordan’s new track “One I Want” ft. PND – OVO Fest attendees will be in for a treat.

We can all agree that the most memorable OVO Fest was back in 2015 when Drake flamed Meek Mill and played both diss tracks, “Charged Up” and “Back to Back”, while displaying memes of the Philly rapper for all to see. However, fans should expect more from OVO Fest, considering that during past shows Drake surprised fans with big stars like Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Future, French Montana, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell, and the list goes on and on.

Like the artists set to perform, Drake also released new music attendees should also expect to hear. The 6 God himself, who released his new track “Signs,” debuted the aspiring summer anthem during the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2018 men’s fashion show in Paris.

The one day music festival will take place August 7 at Toronto’s Budweiser stage. Tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow (June 29) on LiveNation. Based on previous shows and this year’s lineup, OVO Fest 2017 is not one to miss.
