The winners are in! The 16th annual BET Awards 2017 took place last night (June 25) in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Center. The awards was a well-executed hybrid of old meets new, combining musical acts of yesterday with the sounds of today interwoven in a ceremony presenting coveted star-shaped awards to black (and POC) artists in music.
