Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Unveil Children’s Clothing Line
Not too long ago, Kim Kardashian revealed that she and hubby Kanye West will be dropping a children’s clothing collection soon. Since then, we have been anticipating what the two fashion icons would have to offer in a kids edition of clothing line. Well, the wait is over! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are finally unveiling their new children’s collection after months of teasing on social media – and according to her, this is something they have been working on for a while now.
The line – called Kids Supply – features dad hats, dresses, chokers, sweat suits, and a “Calabasas” embroidered reversible satin bomber jacket, much like Kanye’s Calabasas-themed line that sold out in a matter of minutes after its March release.
During an interview with Vogue, Kanye confirmed the children’s line but also revealed that the line was a blend of Kim’s swag. “We’ve had to make all these clothes from scratch for North and for Saint,” Kanye shared with Vogue, “And in the process, it was just inevitable that we make kids’ clothes. With me and my wife, we have a different perspective on the way that kids swag out. And it’s all just slowly coming together.”
The superstar couple are not strangers to the fashion world. Since his first time in the spotlight, Kanye West has been known for his style – among other things. The rapper turned fashion designer has collaborated with loads of designers from Louis Vuitton, Vanessa Beecroft ,and A Bathing Ape to Nike and Adidas. As for Kim, well she got her feet wet in the fashion world back when she created DASH with sisters Kourtney and Khloe. Since then, Kardashian has launched numerous fashion-based lines, including a kids line she created with her sisters back in 2014 called “Kardashian Kids” and has been said to be a muse for designers like Balmain and Roberto Cavalli.
Although it is unclear if Kids Supply will be sold in stores, the line has a freshly minted website where fans of the Wests can pick up the collection.
