‘Deadpool 2’ Casts Atlanta star a Zazie Beetz as Domino
Deadpool 2 has found it Domino!
Atlanta actress Zazie Beetz is set to play Domino in Deadpool 2. Confirmed by Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds made the announcement via Twitter, with two photos revealing the actress.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, in the Marvel’s comic book, Domino is a mercenary who works with the good guys. Like Deadpool, Domino is another survivor of a government program to create the ultimate soldier. Instead of having your normal super powers, Domino can affect probability, creating “good luck” for herself and those around her.
Deadpool 2 will be directed by David Leitch (John Wick) and produced by Reynolds, Simon Kinberg, and Lauren Shuler Donner. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, following its release in February 2016, Deadpool became a hit, grossing more that $780 million at the global box office.

Beetz stars in the FX hit Atlanta as Van, where she was a fan favorite. She has also appeared in Margo vs. Lily, Applesauce, and Finding Her.
The release date for Deadpool 2 has not been announced, but is expected to hit theaters 2018.
