Beyonce decided it was time to up the ante with her title from queen, so at last night’s Grammys she became a full on goddess.
Queen Bey is known for putting on a heck of a show and her most recent Grammy performance was no different. Although she’s very pregnant with twins, which cuts out any intense choreography, Beyonce still managed to kill her almost 10 minutes onstage through the use of beautiful visuals, spiritual references and a chair.
Adorned in all gold from her headpiece to her toes, Beyonce channeled the Yoruba goddess, Oshun, during her set and serenaded audiences with Lemonade songs “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles”.
This is very interesting! In Beyoncé's performance last night, she channeled the Yoruba Goddess Oshun. pic.twitter.com/7AGVX08V5g
