Napster and Spotify have both confirmed that they will begin streaming some of Prince’s classic albums starting Sunday February 12th.
Napster was the first to break the streaming news. “The rumors are true … music fans rejoice!” Napster confirmed according to NPR. Fans can look forward to streaming 1999, Purple Rain, Dirty Mind, and Sign o’ the Times on the same day that the 59th Grammys will honor the music legend.
Spotify had been throwing hints that Prince’s hits were going to join the streaming service family through the release of a purple billboard campaign, spotted in London and New York.
