The Weeknd and Selena Gomez Spark Dating Rumors
Looks like The Weeknd isn’t too broken up about his split from longtime girlfriend and model Bella Hadid.
The “Starboy” crooner was seen getting rather intimate with Selena Gomez last night in Santa Monica in photos obtained by TMZ. The pair were photographed leaving Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi looking rather cozy and even sneaking a few kisses.
Weeknd split from model Bella Hadid last November after 2 years of dating, while Gomez hasn’t been in a public relationship since her highly publicized split from Justin Bieber back in 2012.
According to E! News, the two have recently began seeing each other. “At first, Selena and Abel wanted to keep their relationship a secret,” a source tells the site. “But they’ve decided they really don’t care if everyone knows about them.”
Gomez is close pals with Hadid older sister Gigi which lead many to wonder whether the Hadids were aware of the budding romance between the R&B crooner and ex-Disney star. Curiosity grew when Hadid unfollowed Gomez on Instagram a few hours after the photos were released.
While neither party has commented on the status of their relationship yet, the photos suggest the two just “can’t keep their hand to themselves.” Pun attended.
