Kanye West Meets With President-Elect Donald Trump
A month after being hospitalized for exhaustion, Kanye West is back to work…and meeting with President-elect Donald Trump?
On Tuesday morning (DEC13), West was seen walking into a meeting with the President-elect at Trump Tower in New York. The two chatted for about 15 minutes before being met by a sea of reporters in the lobby of the building where things got even more confusing. West remained silent when asked what was discussed in the meeting while Trump responded: “Life. We discussed life.”
Immediately following the bizarre meeting, Twitter exploded with people speculating about what went down during the top secret meeting between the two controversial men until West finally broke his silence on the social networking site just hours later. “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues,” West explained on Twitter. “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”

This isn’t Yeezy’s first time showing support for Trump. In one of his many infamous rants– this one during a show in San Jose-the rapper admitted that he did not vote in this year’s presidential election but if he had, his vote would have went to Trump. A week later, West cut his Sacramento show short after 3 songs and a 30 minute rap, before canceling the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour a couple of days later and subsequently being hospitalized for exhaustion and dehydration.
