Kanye West Lets The World Know How He Really Feels About Jay Z

Kanye West and Jay Z have always gone together like peanut butter and jelly, but ‘Ye let his fans know recently that all isn’t as well as it seems amongst the rap royals.

During a stop in Seattle for his Saint Pablo tour, the rapper took a second (or 3 minutes) before performing “Pop Style” to let his fans know how he really feels about Jay. He touched on the reason why he and Jay Z weren’t on Drake’s album version of the song, his disdain for the Tidal-Apple beef, and even reveals that his daughter North has never had a playdate with Jay and Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy.

First, the rapper revealed that the reason his and Jay Z’s verses were stripped from Drake’s album version of the hit single, was due to some behind the scenes politics between Apple and Tidal :

“There will never be a Watch the Throne 2. That’s the reason I wasn’t on this song, I wasn’t on the song ’cause of Hov. Y’all ain’t get what y’all was suppose to get with me and Drake because of some Tidal/Apple [Music] bullsh*t. This sh*t got me tight, yo! Every time I perform [‘N*ggas in Paris’], I think about this sh*t. I think about the politics and the bullsh*t. I think about how hard I go for music, for art, for y’all, the fans. How hard we go. It went into some Tidal/Apple political sh*t about percentage on songs.”

Then he went off about Jay Z calling him after Kim Kardashian’s robbery, instead of coming by to check on the couple in-person:

“Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘How you feelin’?’ You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house. Bring the kids by the house, like we’re brothers.”

And before going into the song, he let it slip that the couples’ children have never even had a playdate together:

“I can’t take this sh*t, bro! Our kids have never even played together.”
