Usher Receives Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Usher has spent the last two decades culminating a career that has taken him from music to the big screen and back again. While his remarkable journey has earned him eight Grammys, 18 Billboard Music Awards and countless other accolades, he hit a landmark today that may rival all of the shiny trophies in his arsenal.
The 37-year-old singer and actor has finally secured his spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony took place on Wednesday (September 7) and the “No Limits” singer was all smiles.
“I’m here because I haven’t given up and I have even more to tell,” he said of the honor. “It’s a story that started many, many, many years ago that leads to this moment. It’s not just what you do while you’re here. It’s the evidence of what you’ve done and what you leave on the walls, on the ground, and the hearts of all the people who are passionately connected to what you put out in the world.”
