Drake and Future Lead 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards Nominations
Drake and Future dominate this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards nominations, which shouldn’t be a huge surprise unless you haven’t turned on a radio in the last year.
The nominees were announced for this year’s prizegivings and Drake walked away with the most nods for the 3rd year in a row- 14 total including Best Live Performer,’ ‘Lyricist of the Year,’ ‘MVP of the Year,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Hustler of the Year,’ and more. Future holds down a close second spot with 10 nominations including ‘Hustler of the Year,’ ‘Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip-Hop Style),’ ‘Best Mixtape,’ and ‘Best Collabo, Duo, or Group.’
The duo has been tearing up the hip-hop scene with their Summer Sixteen Tour and it looks like their reign will continue on a while longer.
