‘Black-ish’ Star Anthony Anderson Freaks Out at 2016 Emmy Nomination
Anthony Anderson reacted the way most of us would if we found out we were nominated for an Emmy and the moment was caught on camera while he and Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham announced the list of 2016 nominees. The actor visibly (and adorably) surprised when his name was listed with the rest of the nominees under the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series category, thanks to his role in Black-ish.
Anderson’s TV wife Tracee Ellis Ross was also nominated (Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series), as well as Black-ish as a whole (Outstanding Comedy Series). The 68th Annual Emmy Awards will be held at the The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will air Sunday, September 18th(7:00-11:00 p.m. ET/4:00-8:00 p.m. PM PT) on ABC.
