Beyonce and Jay Z Named Highest Paid Couple in Hollywood

All hail Jay and Bey!

Hip Hop’s king and queen have officially been named the highest paid couple in Hollywood. Forbes has announced that Jay Z and Beyoncé are the world’s highest-paid celebrity couple for the past year, bringing in a whopping $107.5 million.

Queen Bey alone raked in $54 mill, placing her at No. 34 on the Celebrity 100 list. Meanwhile, Hov landed at No. 36 with $53.5 million.

Bey benefitted greatly from the release of her album Lemonade as well as her subsequent Formation World Tour. The bulk of Jay Z’s earnings come from his streaming service, TIDAL. The service experienced a highly profitable year thanks to exclusive rights to some of the most popular names in music, including Kanye West, Rihanna and Beyonce (of course.)

While music may be the power couple’s bread and butter, their other business ventures also help pad their already fat pockets. Jay has his Armand de Brignac champagne, D’USSÉ cognac, and Roc Nation brand, which also includes Roc Nation Sports and more. Bey also launched her super successful Ivy Park clothing line earlier this year.

Jay Z is also in talks of selling Tidal to Apple for a small fortune but no moves have been made yet.
