‘Rocky Horror’ Star Laverne Cox Slays in Dr. Frank-N-Furter First Look
Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox is trading in her orange jumpsuit for a leather bustier and fishnets, starring in FOX’s upcoming revamp of the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As for the Sweet Transvestite’s new look, Cox told Entertainment Weekly that Frank-N-Further’s new look is meant to be a little bit David Bowie, a little bit Grace Jones. ““We were on set and a reporter saw me and said I looked like the love child of Grace Jones and David Bowie. I said ‘That’s exactly right.’ I think we mix up the look more than they did in the original,” she said.. “It’s inspired by the original but it’s really our own take. It’s way more elaborate and couture.”
Rocky Horror Picture Show will premiere on FOX this fall.
