Kevin Hart is continuing his quest for world domination.
The world’s busiest comedian has struck-up a partnership with Lionsgate in order to launch the Laugh Out Loud video-on-demand service come fall. According to Variety, the new streaming service will run 24/7 and “serve as the exclusive home for all content created by Hart outside his theatrical and live touring activities and include original series starring Hart.” That’s right- soon you’ll be able to get all Hart, all the time.
“Lionsgate has always been a great partner of mine, and I’m more than excited to take our business and creative relationship to new levels,” Hart told Variety. “I understand the direction in which the television business is headed, and I see this big new space toward which audiences are starting to gravitate. I believe that launching this venture together now puts us ahead of the pack.”
Hart has taken to social media since the news broke to express his excitement as well. “…I am so proud of this moment. Major thank you to Lionsgate for not only believing in my vision but backing it to the fullest,” reads the caption. “We are about to bring you comedy content from all over the globe….the “Laugh Out Loud” network will be a MULTICULTURAL platform for comedy!!!! My life dream is to bring the world closer thru laughter & this network will bring me closer to accomplishing that goal.”
