When the video of little Kameria sobbing because Obama’s days as U.S. President are coming to an end went viral, the first grader had no idea that it would result in her getting to meet the man himself.
Kameria’s grandmother Caprina Harris posted the video of her understandably upset granddaughter to her Facebook page and the resulting internet and media attention helped the video make its way all the way to the White House. She also wrote a letter to the President, telling him, “I don’t want you to leave the White House. I want to meet you before you leave the White House.”
Well Kameria can now cross the meeting off of her wishlist, thanks to she and her family being invited out to meet the President and First Lady. In a video posted to the White House’s Instagram page, the little girl is seen giving Pres. Obama hugs, telling her “We invited you do you’d know it’d be okay!,” before he and the First Lady pose for photos with everyone.
