T.I. Partners With Roc Nation and Tidal
T.I is officially the newest member of Roc Nation.
The self proclaimed King of the South has signed a distribution deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation and has also become TIDAL’s newest artist-owner.
With this deal, T.I’s 10th album, Dime Trap, will be released via Roc Nation. The rapper is also the 19th artist-owner at TIDAL, joining the likes of Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Beyoncé, and Nicki Minaj.
Tip was previously signed to Columbia Records, where he released 2014’s Pharrell-produced album Paperwork.
Along with the announcement, TIP also released a new video called “Money Talk” exclusively through Tidal. Directed by Derek Blanks, the video brings out T.I.’s more trippy side as he raps over a multi-colored neon backdrop.
