A year after “breaking the internet” by posing naked in Paper Magazine, Kim Kardashian West attempted to break the app store with her new app, “Kimoji,” and succeeded.
Fans were eager to get their hands on the $1.99 app which granted them access to exclusive emoji’s inspired by the reality star including a profile of her in the third trimester of pregnancy, her famous side-boob, her butt swimsuit selfie and dozens of others.
She posted a few pictures on her Instagram giving fans a sneak peak of what images they could expect on the app.

According to The New York Post, more than 9,000 people per second were downloading the app. At that rate, the app was grossing around $1 million.
The 35-year-old mother of two is the self proclaimed queen of social media with more than 38 million followers on Twitter and 55 million followers on Instagram. With fans fawning over her infamous selfies and going crazy over her tweets, the move to release her own emoji’s makes sense, both logically and monetarily.
Despite the app’s popularity, it currently has two stars out of five, with 1,829 user ratings.
