The internet has not been a safe space for Steve Harvey last week.
Following his, now infamous, blunder during the Miss Universe Pageant on Sunday night, the webisphere has been flooded with various memes and videos of the game show host’s gaffe.
Harvey, 58, was hosting the pageant when he mistakingly crowned the wrong contestant as the winner. The host announced that Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, was the big winner when the crown actually belonged to Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurzbach.
Harvey immediately realized his mistake, apologized and corrected his mistake. He even took to Twitter to apologize once more.
I’d like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible.
