Jordan Peele Announces Engagement to Chelsea Peretti
Jordan Peele, former star of Key & Peele, proposed to his longtime-love Chelsea Peretti.
The funny man, 36, made the announcement Saturday on Twitter, with a ring emoji and the name of his “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” girlfriend, 37.
Just to make it clear that things were serious, Peretti followed up the tweet with her own Twitter update saying, “My fiancé (lololol) @JordanPeele proposed to me last night during the family talent show lolol 🌺❤️🌺.”
Given the history of their relationship, it seems to make perfect sense that the couple would share their announcement on Twitter. According to Entertainment Weekly, the couple first met thanks to their initial interaction on Twitter.
“Me and Jordan also met on the Internet, on Twitter. He was very complimentary of the Web series I once did,” she explained.
Peretti and Peele have been dating since 2012. They haven’t announced any additional details to their impending nuptials.
