Idris Elba to Open Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour
Madonna has announced that Idris Elba, who is a DJ when he isn’t acting will open her Rebel Hearts Tour stop in Berlin Tuesday night (Nov. 10).
The concert taking place at Mercedes Benz Arena is one of the season’s most highly anticipated shows.
Elba took to social media to share his excitement.
“Playing Berlin today for @Madonna concert!!! Big gig ;),” he tweeted.
Elba has a strong music resume. The Emmy nominee started out as a DJ before he made it big in acting. He has played in Ibiza Rocks and at Glastonbury. He also produced his own album of original material devoted to Nelson Mandela, called mi Mandela.
