Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor Are Engaged
Cleveland Cavaliers star Iman Shumpert and singer Teyana Taylor are engaged!
The 25-year-old basketball star popped the question to his girlfriend, who is pregnant with the couple’s child, on Saturday while while she was enjoying a baby shower with her loved ones at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, Ohio.
Shumpert got down on one knee t ask his lady for her hand in marriage. After she said “YES,” he placed a gorgeous and unique ring with a round ruby red stone in the center and a gold diamond-encrusted band.
The bride-to-be took to Instagram to express her love for her new fiancé, and to show off her ring.
I am his Ruby Woo… ❤️ I’m still speechless. I love you baby. 😢😍 @imanshumpert,” she captioned a photo.
She followed up her initial post with a lengthier post.
“🌹 ‘Before your love baby I was muddy/ So deep with pain till you took it from me/ You showered me with a new beginning
Now I’m clean/ Took me by surprise when you ran up on me, I came to life baby in that moment/ You put your hands on my heart and baby

The happy couple announced they were expecting their first child, a baby girl who they intend to name Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., in a Facebook post back in September.
