NFL Player DeSean Jackson Welcomes Son with Girlfriend
Redskins Wide Receiver Desean Jackson and girlfriend Kayla Phillips announced that they welcomed a healthy baby boy on Tuesday (Oct. 26).
“Blessings on Blessings. D Jac Jr finally arrived!! Active Jac #2,” the proud dad captioned an Instagram photo of himself holding his son.
The mom also took to Instagram to share the news. “My big boy is here!! #Oct26 #deseanjacksonjr,” she captioned a close up photo of the newborn.
The couple starred in a reality series together on BET titled DeSean Jackson: Home Team. On the show, the couple’s relationship and journey to parenthood together was shown.
“I still think she’ll be the one I marry one day,” Jackson said of Phillips on the series.
Though the couple has not announced plans of walking down the aisle any time soon, they have a lot to celebrate with their new bundle of joy.
It’s the first child for the 28-year-old NFL player and the second for the 24-year-old model. She also has a son named Cameron.
