Jay Z is bringing some of the biggest stars to the stage, and it’s all for charity.
On Wednesday, Jay Z announced that his music streaming service will be launching Tidal X: 1020 Amplified by HTC, the first in a series of concerts that will give back.
Along with Jay Z, Beyoncé, Prince, Usher and Nicki Minaj, T.i. and Lil Wayne will lead a star-studded wave of an already stacked lineup scheduled to play the Tidal X: 1020 charity concert on October 20th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Tidal acts Alessia Cara, Bas, Benjamin Booker, Flatbush Zombies and Justine Sky will also take center stage.
According to a release, the concert will feature “collaborations on specially chosen songs to promote the message of unity through music.”
Aimed at “raising awareness, funds, conscious engagement, and dynamic action for transformative and positive social impact worldwide,” the concert will donate 100% of ticket sales’ proceeds to charities via New World Foundation, with TIDAL matching all proceeds during pre-sale period for a special charity fund.
Tickets range from $74 to $244 and will be available to Tidal members at 12 p.m. on Wednesday. Non-members will be able to purchase tickets on Friday.
