Janet Jackson and J. Cole Team Up For “No Sleeep” Video
Just yesterday a remixed version of Janet Jackson’s comeback single “No Sleeep” hit the internet with a surprising feature from J. Cole. Now, the new version has a video to go along with it!
“I hope u enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed making it,” the legendary singer tweeted.
The video opens with a scene very reminiscent to “That’s The Way Love Goes” with the naturally curly look and the subtle dance moves to the beat. The camera follows Janet around the house as she sings and vibes to the beat.
J. Cole makes his appearance nearly three minutes in as he raps about his perspective of falling in love with someone.
Jackson’s solo version of “No Sleeep,” which will not appear on the album, leaped to Number 5 on Billboard’s Adult R&B airplay charts, making it the icon’s first top five song in more than a decade.
The singer’s new album is scheduled for release this fall.
