‘Suicide Squad’ Trailer Officially Debuts
A few days after the footage leaked online following its Comic-Con debut, Warner Bros. has officially released the trailer for Suicide Squad.
Directed by David (Fury) Ayer, the film follows a secret government agency that recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.
Major villains who make an appearance in the trailer include Deadshot (Will Smith), Joker (Jared Leto), the Joker’s right-hand gal, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney). Viola Davis and Ben Affleck also star in the film as Amanda Waller and Batman, respectively.
Suicide Squad is slated to release on 5 August 2016.
