In honor of the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Lil Wayne will host a benefit concert.
Dubbed the Lil Weezyana Fest, the benefit concert will take place in his native New Orleans. It’s rumored that inaugural event will feature Lil Wayne and a reunion with ’90s group the Hot Boys, which Juvenile, B.G. and Turk, according to Complex. There is also a chance that his Young Money stars Drake and Nicki Minaj will make an appearance.
The announcement was made on Instagram by the rapper’s manager, Cortez Bryant, on Tuesday (July 7).
“We coming home to give the city the greatest concert ever!” he announced.
Ticket presale starts Wednesday with general public sales beginning Saturday via Ticketmaster. The event will be held at New Orleans’ Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square on Aug. 28.
