Rapper The Game turned himself in to Los Angeles authorities on Monday after allegedly punching an off-duty police officer in the face.
The incident happened on March 29 while the two were playing a game of basketball at the Hollywood High School Gym. The punch was recorded on video and posted online, according to the Associated Press.
The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. He posted $50,000 bail about an hour later.
On Monday, Taylor posted a photo to Instagram making light of the situation. The photo showed him squatting in front of the Hollywood station of the Los Angeles Police Department with the caption “Waiting on my uber lol.”
