Mike Epps, Nia Long Star in ABC’s ‘Uncle Buck’ Trailer

In March, ABC announced that Mike Epps and Nia Long would be starring in a new comedy Uncle Buck. The network has now dropped the first trailer for the upcoming series.

ABC’s synopsis of the family comedy reads:

Based on the hit movie of the same name, the new comedy Uncle Buck is coming to ABC. Mike Epps is a fun-loving but irresponsible guy who needs a job and a place to stay. By happy coincidence, his nieces and nephew’s Nanny has just quit and his brother and sister-in-law need his help. His unconventional personality just may make him the right fit for the family and they may be the answer to his problems, too.

Epps and Long are joined in the TV series by James Lesure, Sayeed Shahidi, Aalyrah Caldwell and Iman Benson.

Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley will pen the pilot and executive produce alongside Will Packer, the producer behind blockbuster hits Think Like a Man and Ride Along.

ABC has not given Uncle Buck premiere date yet, but is expected to be in the 2015 Fall lineup. The series will join the network’s other family-friendly shows, including Black-ish.
