Ne-Yo to Write New Music for Season Two of ‘Empire’
R&B Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo has been tapped to write new music with Timbaland for Season Two of Empire, Fox has announced.
Timbaland serves as executive music producer on the hit US hip hopera. He and Ne-yo previously worked together on the 2012 song “Hands In The Air.” Ne-Yo is responsible for penning hit tracks such as Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” and Rihanna’s “Take a Bow.”
Fox also announced yesterday (May 11) that season two of Empire will feature guest appearances from Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and Chris Rock, among other famous names to be announced later.
The second season of the breakout drama is set to expand to 18 episodes split into 9 episodes for Fall and Spring.
Currently, season one of the drama is airing on E4 in the UK.
