Ciara Debuts ‘I Got You’ Video, A Song Dedicated to Her Son
Last week, Ciara stopped by The View to share a snippet of her music video for the “I Got You,” a song dedicated to baby Future and now she has debuted the full video.
The video begins with the moment the R&B singer told her parents she was pregnant. Other parts of the video show the singer’s son accompanying her in the studio as she records and at photo shoots. There is even one scene where Ciara is singing directly to baby Future, and promising him love, protection and support throughout his life.
When Ciara shared the first snippet of the video on The View, Ciara also talked about how becoming a mother has influenced her life.
“My son is just a ball of joy. He’s a ray of light,” said the singer. “I can be having a crazy moment, and the moment is completely gone when I see his smile.”
“I Got You” is the newest single from Ciara’s sixth studio effort Jackie, and was released on May 1.
