It’s no surprise that Ludacris was tapped to host the 2015 Billboard Music Awards again in May, but joining him this year will be supermodel (and John Legend’s wife) Chrissy Teigen.
“If my extensive collection of all 53 Now That’s What I Call Music compilations is any indication, I am both qualified and honored to join Ludacris in hosting this amazing show that spotlights the best music and artists of the year,” said Teigen.
Honorees to be awarded at the ceremony are chosen based on fan interactions with music, which include song sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social media involvement on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and other popular outlets for music.
The 2015 Billboard Music Award finalists will be announced on April 7th during Good Morning America, where Ludacris and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz will join in on the morning fun.
The awards show will air on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 17 at 8pm/ET.
