Derek Fisher Files for Divorce From Wife of 10 Years
New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher has filed for divorce from his wife of 10 years, Candace.
According to the Associated Press, Fisher filed the paperwork Wednesday in Los Angeles.
“This is a difficult time for me personally. For the sake of our children, I ask that everyone respects our privacy during this process,”Fisher says in a statement.
The divorce news comes just a month after the couple celebrated 10 years of marriage on Feb. 19.
The couple, who married in 2005, have two children together: twins Tatum and Drew. They each also have one child from previous relationships.
